Terms and Conditions
- Invoicing for work completed is done at the end of each calendar month. Payment is due by the 20th of the following month.
- A deposit may be required for new website builds or work requiring external software being purchased.
- Website hosting is invoiced prior to the date the account is due. It is charged yearly from the date the account was created.
- Website maintenance is charged 3 monthly for ecommerce or specialist sites, and 6 monthly for standard sites.
- CP Design reserves the right to remove any website that has outstanding fees owing after ample reminders have been issued.
Ownership
Your website is completely your property once our services have been paid for in full.
Access to your site’s CMS (WordPress) login is provided as standard procedure. Access to the hosting control panel and FTP can be provided on request.
SEO
All our sites are built using a ‘best practice’ Search Engine Optimisation structure for pages and titles. We cannot guarantee any specific position in search engine results for your website but it will be in good condition for Google to index it correctly.
The most important factor in search engine ranking is high quality, key word friendly page content. We are happy to offer advice on how to go about this.
For advanced SEO analysis we would be happy to recommend business associates who specialise in this area.
Security
We use best practice security measures to ensure the integrity of your WordPress site. A website maintenance program is recommended to help keep your site safe from hackers and malware.
Despite all security measures it is impossible to 100% guarantee security of your website.
For this reason a schedule of regular backups is recommended so that the site can be restored at any time. Backups are included in our maintenance plans.
Revisions
We are happy to accept changes to the proposed design however we limit the number of author’s changes as per your quote. Further changes may lead to extra charges.
